This piece is a collaboration between myself and Lindsay Wells. We met through our art and developed a deep appreciation for each other’s work. It was an easy choice to decide to blend our styles and it was very synchronistic for us when we were deciding on a subject to paint. Swallowtail butterflies are both the Michigan and Arizona state butterflies- where we are respectively from.
